Your child’s day

We advise that you pack a set of spare clothes, as even though our team will provide aprons for particularly messy play, we encourage the children to explore the activities and environments indoors and outdoors, so they may come home with some evidence of the fun they’ve had on their clothes! It’s also handy to pack wellies and a rainsuit.

Our team are on hand to support your child in their toileting journey and get your child ready for big school. We ask that you pack plenty of spare pants and clothes for little accidents.

Mealtimes / Food

We understand that food can be a tricky topic for some children, and each child’s eating habits are different. Your child will always be offered the meal on the menu, and gently encouraged to try the dish, however we will never force children to try what’s on their plate and will ensure they aren’t going hungry. We don’t typically allow packed lunches so as to ensure fairness for all of the children and so we can carefully manage the allergies and dietary requirements we have present amongst the children. If your child has specific needs, the setting manager will be happy to talk these through with you to do our best to accommodate.

The children are provided only water or milk to drink, in line with health and nutrition guidance. If your child has specific needs, the setting manager will be happy to talk these through with you to do our best to accommodate.

Of course! Just ask, and we’ll be pleased to share these with you.
