Camp Coconuts
Who we are
At Camp Coconuts, we aim to make every child’s experience one filled with fun, play, and friends, in an exciting environment, supported by a caring and committed team. We’re dedicated to ensuring you have complete confidence that your child will be safe, happy, and having a blast.
Children aren’t just cared for and kept busy, but valued and celebrated by their peers and practitioners. We’re always on hand to support each child’s needs, help them navigate transitions such as starting school, and encourage their interests.
Whether your child is with us for a day here and there in the holidays, or regularly through term time, they’ll leave having had a great time.
What we get up to!
Our Days
The most important element of children’s learning and enjoyment in Camp Coconuts is play. We embed the playwork principles in our practice,
meaning children are encouraged to take ownership of their play, make choices, and lead their experiences.
Through the day, the children are invited to create, build, imagine, question, and follow their interests. From messy arts and crafts and experiments, outdoor
adventures and soft play, to story time and group games, we keep our days busy and exciting.

Our Team
The Camp Coconuts team have either achieved, or are supported in working towards, a childcare or playwork qualification. They receive regular in-house training and updates and, in addition, are invited to take part in training on a range of topics from allergens and anaphylaxis, outdoor provision and risky play, to children’s mental health and encouraging positive behaviour.
All our team members undertake regulatory training as part of their induction and training programme in:
First Aid

Our Food
We know that nutritious and nourishing food is so important for growing minds and bodies, so we’ve filled our 3-week
menu with flavourful, wholesome meals that are made fresh on site by our brilliant cooks.
We’re passionate about sustaining positive relationships and experiences with food. Mealtimes offer lots of opportunity for independence,
and the children are also invited to take part in cooking and food tasting activities as part of their activity plans.
